Running a Snapchat campaign will allow you to generate awareness around a release by strategically placing ads in front of user’s content when they’re scrolling through the app between videos. The main goal is to be seen and heard by a potential new fan base, or an existing fan base which are unaware of a new release with a swipe up to take users to a link (eg. Smart link or video)
Common Campaign Goals:
· Traffic (Pros: Generate more swipe ups to a link (estimated 10-15p per swipe up and £1.10 per thousand impressions. Cons: Impressions are usually lower compared to other goals)
Top Tips:
· Add a profile photo to your Public Profile and include story highlights which will entice people to follow
· The specification required is 720 x 1080 pixels (15 Seconds max)
· Profanity/Smoking/Nudity/Weapons or imitating weapons with hand signs will result in the ad being disapproved
· Entice the user within the first few seconds of the ad with a catchy bit of the song or video
